Comments: On 10/10/24, the WI DOA Secretary's Office received a correspondence from the plaintiff's attorney at MUNICIPAL LAW & LITIGATION GROUP, S.C. regarding their "City of Lake Geneva v. Village of Bloomfield, et al (24CV441) - Notice of Commencement of Action" filed at the Walworth County Circuit Court on 07/18/24 pursuant to WI Stats. s.806.04, challenging the terms of the Village's and Town's Intergovernmental Cooperative Agreement adopted pursuant to WI Stats. s.66.0301(6)(a), executed on 05/20/24. An "Amended Complaint" was filed on 07/30/24. Requested relief includes a declaration that the Town/Village boundaries revert to their condition and location prior to the execution of said Agreement. Those court complaint documents have been appended to the back of the originally filed Village ordinance #24-O-03 documents filed here. Case dismissed on 1/16/26 and subsequently appealed on 2/9/26; attached to ordinance document. - Aaron G
